My friend has experienced problems with regards to his son’s junior pass. They had both traveled away to the Bradford game and when it came to trying to enter the KC for last weeks home game, they realised that the turnstile operator at Bradford had ripped out the no3 voucher of his sons season pass.
My friend was told that they knew about the problem and, that the bulls had used the wrong voucher from the vast majority of Hull junior season pass holders who had attended the game. To cut a long story short, they were passed from between the KC ticket office and the Hull office, where they were met by someone who had obviously not yet had any customer relations training and basically told my mate it was not their problem and a mistake of the bulls that they were aware of and he would have to pay if he wanted his son to see the Cas game.My friend has now sent two e-mails to James Rule on this matter and is yet to receive a reply, although for the life of me I can’t figure out why either of us is surprised or shocked by this.
It’s ok the club having statements on their web site that basically say that it is the season pass holders responsibility to hand over the correct voucher, but is this always possible? My friend’s son is 10 and has to enter the ground in a different turnstile. He, as usual for away games asked the turnstile operator which voucher was needed. The operator took his pass off him and ripped out the voucher before handing it back. As they have not experienced any problems in the past, my friend then took his sons pass off him when they were in the ground, unsuspecting that there was a problem.
I feel that this is another issue that could and should have handled better. But because it probably only effects the lemmings who they know will continue to support them and not the corporate types they seem to crave, they don’t really give a flying French Connection UK.
Is it true that Richard Agar's favorite movie of all time is Groundhog Day or does he just generally like the same boring s**t day after day, season after season?
Surely if the knew about the problem they should just have said, for this one occasion, you only needed the pass itself. Talk about shooting themselves in the fott.

Maybe the new "Community" director will help?

The kids have got other vouchers in the back of thier pass, so they could have taken one of those. Apparantly it affected a lot of people, but Hull were just happy to continue to tell people it was Bradfords fault. They seemed to struggle with the fact that it was the junior fans of Hull FC that were affected by this and were unwilling to help.
Just another example for me of how little the club (not the players or coaching staff) appreciate the general fan.

A job for FCVoices methinks?
That's what I mentioned to my mate the other day, but he was originally happy to contact Mr Rule.
I suppose we can see how many people post on here that have had the same or similar problem and then if FC voices want to pick it up I am sure my friend would be willing to work with them and provide them with his story.
It just puzzles me that the club find it enough of a problem to post a statement on their website, yet they are unwilling to contact or reply personally to the fans that it has affected and have made the time and effort to bring this problem to the clubs attention in the first place.

I'll give you my opinion now.
I have 2 boys and have been to countless away games with them and used their passes. You know which are the home and away tickets within the passes. I have always given the lads their passes open at the relevent page, checked with the turnstile operator and then torn the ticket out and kept the pass.
I'm sorry if I sound harsh but the club aren't there to wipe your backsides. The tickets are clearly marked in the passes.
I now await the torrent of abuse lol!!!
