Leon Pryce may not be everybody's cup of tea but he showed a lot of dignity and respect in last night's game. The same cannot be said of those people who chose to chant from the relative safety and anonymity of the terraces.
I'm not naive enough to think that these things will ever stop happening however I don't agree with it. I would however expect even the cerebrally challenged might know that there's a time when these things are not appropriate.

[quote="SaintsFan"]Do you know what a charge of assault means? It can mean anything from a shove to a punch across the face. People talk like he has murdered someone when all he may have done is give the other bloke a push. The other charge was dropped due to the prosecution bringing no evidence. So maybe people should think first before condemning him?
Think you're a little blinkered trivialising what he's done, when a judge is quoted in the paper as warning that "You're looking at a custodial sentence"then he obviously hasn't "just" pushed someone!!!

In terms of the prformance, I thought it was our worst of the year, but to be fair the front row was down to (less than) the bare bones, so we were never going to be able to build any sort of platform.
On a positive note, I am very proud of my club tonight, the tribute to Leon was suberb, hats off to SKY also
What are you talking about there?
The tribute sky did was very touching and certianly moving

It was the way Pryce walked off with a cocky smug look on his face.
What about the mention to the Wakey songs we did all night? Not been funny but if it was not for the group of us that side you would think it was a library with the amount of noise other fans make.
Just before the miniutes silence when his family was coming onto the pitch we were singing “only one Leon Walker” probably longest chant of night it went on for ages, just hope sky showed that as they may have been on an ad break.

I don't think now is the time to be calling other fans - and it is certainly RLFans policy not to discuss the Pryce / Reardon case as it is still to be determined (the sentence).
So I'm gonna call a halt to this one for now.
Sorry.
