I think he made a few strange desisions, but tbf to him I have seen games he has contolled reasonably well, its his firts year in SL ( i think) and he should be allowed to make mistakes if he learns from them in the future, just as young players would.

Perhaps not the man for the job last night though with all that went on.

Omfg how the hell has this numpty landed himself in Super League??? He only started reffing NL1 last season and was an utter imbecile back then...

It's expansionazism gone mad. He shouldn't even be allowed to ref amateur level games.

Worst ref ever.

I remember him reffing a Game at Doncaster against Halifax about 4 years or so ago. He's been about since then

I didn't think he was great tonight, however I have been impressed with him the last few times I have seen him. He is definitely getting much much better and as good as many others. Sometimes his signals and the fact that his English isn't brilliant doesn't help us to understand what he has given, but he is ok.

Last week in Hull he time and again called players back who where off side. He rarely penalised the player(s), as the player would stop in his tracks and try not interfer with play though he clearly was.

He did this again tonight when a Saints player was off side. This was on Wakefields last play and resulted in Danny Brough kicking out on the full. This I believe was because the offside player was interfering with play and caused DB to rush his kick.

The resulting scrum lead to a try for Saints from a forward pass.

You really do have no understanding of the laws of the game or the role of a referee, do you?

Doubt everything, even this

Fyi yes I do. The Saints player was 2 yards offside at the play the ball and was advancing towards DB. DB was shaping to kick but the Saints player is in his way. He has to check and re-adjust himself resulting in poor kick.

Now watch it again and see if you see it that way. If you don't, tell me why. If you can't tell me why then I will take it you have no understanding.

So you didn't see him refereeing in the world cup in 2000 then?

oooh get her

so he had an off day

I have seen hime ref a few times, going back a few years and he is a decent ref, controls a game well enough and lets the game play itself

Ever thought that maybe he too let the emotion of last night get to him a bit at all?

Or is it just the nature of RL fans that they absolutely have to whine like little girls with scraped knees on ever single subject?

As has been said, want to do better? Get off your backsides and have a go. When you have failed miserably you can come back and whine about how the courses were good enough etc etc.

Its quite common for refs to struggle when they first come into SL. Some ofthe better ones (and I'm not naming names as it would only sidetrack the debate) were poor in their first season. The pace of the game is so much quicker they inevitably struggle to get into the right position to make a call.

When the ball is kicked out on the full it doesn't result in a scrum.
