I seldom, if ever moan about refs... But... Problem was, there was that much messing at the PTB by Hudds, credit to them for getting away with it, that the mupit did not seem to bother with the 10 yds/mtrs for either side... WHAT DO THE LINESMEN DO!!!!!!!!!!!

The Bentham and Turley comedy duo were horrendous at the Leigh friendly if you recall also.
Bentham never had control of the game, and you could tell there was a brawl brewing. How a referee can get so many crucial and significant decisions is beyond me. You can take missing a couple of knock-ons / mistakes.
What gets me is that he was fairly whistle-happy tonight but STILL missed some very obvious decisions, be it off his own back or with the "help" of his assistants. Roberts Try, Robinson on O'Loughlin, Richards having been tackled in play then pushed back over the ingoal line him awarding a drop out, the Hudds try where we knocked on, they knocked on, then they scored and he just sprinted over and gave it.
All those decisions had affected the score. At a time when the score was 8-10 he really started to go down hill.

Honestly I’ve never been so mad at a ref! Truly shocking performance in every single aspect of the game.
It’s far from sour grapes believe me but that guy cost us big time tonight. Two tries cancelled out and a lot of dubious decisions which made life a lot lot harder that what it needed to be.
Btw 400 fans my@r$e! 150 Hudds fans tops were there tonight show’s how pathetic your support is when we don’t even open the away stand. As one Wigan fan behind me said ‘I’d be ashamed to bring that many fans’
Really hope Hudds get passed over on a franchise
Bet you do, as least that will be 2 drubbings you can rule out each season, in fact, why not rule out a few more franchises then you can get back to winning on a regular basis again.
Just get over the fact that everyone is now full time (14 years now) and you don't have the god given right to beat everyone anymore.
Lets look at the development of the British game here, I reckon you had 8 overseas players tonight and we had 4, who's helping to develop our game the most?
Superleague is as exciting as it's ever been when you can go into most games not knowing who's going to win. I mean look at you last week, you won at Salford!!
This will be our year......................................................Hopefully! But maybe not with child running amock.

Well considering you got Brown, Robinson, Aspinwall, Hodgson and Wild off of us...Wigan?

I think you will find that we dont think we have or ever had a god given right to win anything. We took our opportunity to move forward at a time when everyone else didnt. It wasnt our fault your chairman lost his balls and didnt turn full time, we didnt create a rule saying no-one else could!
And for the second bit in bold, i agree with half your statement, you dont know who is going to win each weekend, and that is good. But the first half is laughable. The standard is terrible, huds last night did nothing more than 5 drives and a kick, and lie on in defence.
Granted that was enough to win the game, i wont go into how poor we where.
And as for development of the game, are you serious. I counted 3 ex wigan juniors in your side, and the list of internationals you have produced in the last 24 years just rolls of the tounge!
PS And yes i am aware we shouldnt have got rid of sone of them, but when you sell stories to the press about a fellow club man, you have to go!

I know the first half of the statement is laughable, it was just a reaction to a fool that said we should not get a franchise next time round!!

Thank which ever god you pray too for that, i had assumed that you had bought into the RFL's notion that everything is rosey, and other fans views of anyone but Wigan.

I was really hopping we won tonight so I could post this topic from a winners view as even when the game was in the balance I honestly thought he was shocking
