"I don't think we had much help this evening in relation to how we wanted to play the game."

Spoilsports that lot from Huddersfield.

I see Ainscough was exposed again with kicks. It's a tough arena alright.

Still better than Kevin Penny mind.

Noble is funny.

Surely he wasn't being serious?

I noticed his comments about Ainscough. Now he has the opportunity to get Phelps back in the team.

Quote:Every player in our squad could probably earn more money with another club. But they prefer to sacrifice a few extra quid in their back pocket to share special memories. And playing at a place like Old Trafford on a night like this makes it all worthwhile.

Is Noble still in a job??

The season starts in October. Until then, don't panic!

   :BOOHOO:
He really should concentrate on getting a "plan B" because his tactic's are very 1 dimensional!!

That got me!!

Nobbie's moaning about spoiling tactics!!! That's the direct way he has had success against Leeds over recent years. When Wigan get on top against us they love slowing the PLB area, making a messy ruck.

BUT...

...we know what Wigan will try and do (like all the SL clubs know how Giants play), so you have to adapt to neutralise that option. So you can make sure you don't get turtled on your back, PTB as quick as posssible, the line of attack should set back deeper to allow more room for movement.

When Leeds have done this, we have racked up cricket scores and more importantly victories against them. This is called coaching Nobbie!!! He's feeling the squeeze again.
