We have no idea in attack.
5 drives and a kick. That is it.
Not helped tonight by perhaps the most inept referee I have seen this season, but still we dont help ourselves allowing countless knock ons and silly penalties. I think we knocked on 3 times on the second tackle after being awarded penalties in good field position.
No doubt we will smash Barrow and all will be well again

Spot on comment that, we played in the hudds hands lock stock & barrell,
very rarely did the wingers see the ball(Roberts once for the try)
We have the top scorer in super league but he never got a pass
Is it any wonder the crowds are going down playing the sort of rugby that was offered up tonight
Rant over
WIGAN RLFC IS MORE THAN A RUGBY CLUB - IT'S A RELIGION There will always be a Wigan Warriors no matter what the bitter & twisted blues say

Thats assuming that we can actually complete a full-set, without dropping the ball / knocking-on / throwing a wayward pass, of course!
More like 'Wigan - Home of the 2 drives and a scrum', these days.

It was hardly the weather to be chucking it about in tonight and of the two teams I would say we were the more adventurous.
So we failed to play the conditions?
As i said i am not in a position to comment on the performance but from what i have heard Brown got it right and picked up the win, Noble got it wrong and we all know where that story ends.
Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.

I would agree with that. Hudds came with a game plan to spoil at the play the ball and they did it well. They were lying on and keeping a hand on the ball and generally slowing it down. I am not blaming them for that, it is up to the ref to be firm but if he isn't then you get away with what you can.
I am not biased; I'm not bothered who beats St. Helens.
