Yes. Except when it comes to Offiah, about whom a lack of moaning is a disgrace.

Did not get to see last night's game, but in general I have never had any problem with Arthur's commentaries.

It is strange the way that Sky include the feed from the referee in the National League coverage, sometimes he drowns out the commentary. Most odd.

The whole commentary team on SKY need to book their ideas up.

Stevo and Eddie - The best of a bad bunch, but eager to fulfill the SKY mantra of shouting, bawling and generally saying how great a polished turd is

Barry and Terry - Are they auditioning for a spot on Phenoix Nights. Sometines they appear like they are trying to do testimony to a working man's club cabaret act. stay on the game gents.

Phil Clarke - Needs to understand his stating of the obvious isn't some wonderful insight Jean Paul Satre woukd have been proud of

Paul Cullen - Needs to understand he [i]isn't[/b] Jean Paul Satre.

Bill Arthur - Sounds like some naff reporter from The Day Today.

New bloke who interviewed last night - Is he off Trident Work Experience?

Martin Offiah - Attended too many chuff chuff parties. Lack of knowledge stems fromt he fact he ain't been involved in the game for years. Steadily improving and has the best potential of the lot in fairness, however.

Personally I didn't mind the commentary last night, I even thought Terry O'conner came across as knowledgeable and Barrie Mcdermott was entertaining.

Commentators (even the so called best in the business) sometimes make mistakes, get over it.

Your not wrong....just watch the game and if the commentator really grates there is a mute button

I agree totally.
Its a lot worse in the lower divisions when the crowds are so small.
I dont tend to notice it as much on SL games apart from the mooooooooove which is a pain.

Also found it quite perplexing the ref actually said "good kick" when gateshead restarted after a try :?

ie: they've done it right, no offside or other penalties – good refs are always telling teams when they've done things well, as well as when they're doing it wrong and need to correct something to keep within the rules.

Doubt everything, even this

I though the ref was good last night just a late call on the 5th tackle near the end blotted his copy book.

I think its a gradual progression to get rid of eddie and stevo and actually have the referees commentating on the game as it is going on!!

Never thought of that and he did know the players by their first name so he's got one up on them 2 already.

Then again it was only Dylan Nash he ever had to have words with so I guess its no big deal he was on first name terms with him
