Agreed, would love a full house but don't think we will. Hope we can and will hope and hope.

After the game I hope the lads and Kear do a lap of honour so to speak, only normally do one at tend of season but I think they deserve one with all the adversity they have had to deal with so far. It would be even better if EVERY supporter stayed behind at the end to clap the lads.

i think thats a good idea....i rkn the lads will do something similar...but it'd be nice for an official announcement telling us that the players would be doing that....im sure all the fans would stay behind and it'd once again show the unity in this great sport

I agree there. However I think ngbc should send it to the WE, changing the relevant facts to bring attention to the next reserve home game, V Bradford, April 4th.

I'll be on that. Already starting a write up for that and the Wakey express.

Without being disrespectful, we should be getting a full house against one of the best sides in the Super League anyway. Hopefully with the events of last weekend, we should definitely get a large gate.

Though, I would like to point out a different side to this that hasn't been discussed - people react in different ways after events such as this, some question whether they want to stay involved with the game, some need a break from it all, and some just want to focus on the positives within their lives. I don't think anyone should be criticised for dealing with matters however they see fit (legally obviously...), but ensuring that they cope with things adequately and sufficiently for themselves.

I am Rugby League mad, but one of my players broke his leg in two places in a training session last year, I felt physically sick for hours afterwards, personally responsible, and questioned my involvement with the sport. I fully understand that accidents do happen, but people need time to react the way they need to themselves.

Oh so true, each person reacts and gets over these things in a different way, not a right way and a wrong way.

Been there and its not nice.

I will be at Headingley on friday night and not at BV, but i will still give the due respect to Leon just the same in our minutes silence

I don't think that i could stand to see Leon's mum and dad <Steve and Donna> go through this emotional roller-coaster of an occasion, as i have known them both for far too long now

I'm sure that you guy's will give Leon the send-off that he deserves in the minutes silence, and also that the Wildcats could actually put the icing on the cake by beating the Saints

tonight's for you"

Just watched a clip on Sky Sports News about the game and it sent a shiver down my spine. Don't think I've looked forward to a game this much for ages, possibly the Cas relegation decider the other year being the last, and that was a great night.

That night was a great occasion and the Wakey fans turned out in numbers and did the club proud. In a different way, I see this as a more important game to turn out and show the lads support and I truly hope they do.

Mentioned it to one of the lads at work today and all he could say was... "yeah I'll probably watch it on Sky" I was fuming and told him I couldn't believe he couldn't make the effort in these circumstances after the way the lads have run their blood to water this year and put everything in for the fans, and turned in some very good performances to boot. By the end of my little rant at him I think I changed his mind!

Tomorrow night I will probably feel prouder to be a Wakey fan (and rugby league fan) than ever before, it will be an emotional night and I'm sure once again the boys who wear the shirt will do us proud. I will shout louder, sing louder and clap louder than ever before in my own show of support and hope all others do the same.

At the final whistle, whether we've won, lost, drawn, been hammered, whatever, I will stay back and show everyone associated with the club the support and appreciation they fully deserve.

I cannot wait!

I echo your words,
it takes time to love a club so much,
the sooner the new stadium comes around the better, I couldn't believe the atmosphere at the wigan game, it made me feel twenty yrs younger I was singing my heart out,
tomorrow will start off very somber, but I expect us all to be vocal the team needs us, the players will be very nervous and need our support
