i've noticed recently how bad they seem to have become. but i wa sin newcastle last weekend cycling and the roads i was on up there are far worse than they are here

Willerby Road from Derringham roundabout to Springhead Lane is a terrible surface. Potholes everywhere. Dread to think of traffc problems if they ever try to fix them though.

Hedon Road is the responsibility of the Highways Agency, which is why i'm surprised they haven't been sorted out. Most of the damage has been caused by lorries tipping over on the roundabouts, mainly due to them driving like idiots.

thats bollox, its down to them laying a mickey poor surface and its crumbling by the day
i nearly ended up in the barriers on marfleet roundabout the other day after hitting 2 pot holes doing only about 20mph

FFS the roads mentioned ARE that bad and the potholes can't be avoided without causing an accident.
