All the sympathy seems headed towards Wakefield... yet we have a number of players at our club who were very close friends with Leon having been part of his life for 3 years and more. Our coaching staff coached him for 3 years and will be feeling this too. Many of our team are hurting right now, and I'm not sure how this will affect them. All I would say is now is a time that the game comes second and the thoughts hopefully will go with the friends and family of Leon... so this weeks game could prove to be difficult for some of our guys... and I hope that as supporters we have plenty of patience and not expect too much.
I hope our club do something a little longer lasting for Leon and his family than just a minute silence... maybe something in the Salford v Wakefield game later on in the season.
This was awful news... and I can't stop feeling sad for his friends and family.
RIP Leon
