Club have confirmed it is £10 into the Widnes game. (£5 concs, £1 Juniors)

Good move by the club, let's hope it brings the numbers down to the Shay for what promises to be a cracker!!!!!

great news. Well done to both clubs in agreeing to this. Hopefully will ensure a great crowd to generate a winning atmosphere for Halifax!

But will use my season ticket to watch Halifax v Widnes for free

Sorry Mick the rules are you can only use your season ticket to watch the team who issued the season ticket, either at home or away

Fantastic News, Hopefully Widnes can market this as well and encourage as many to travel as possible, 8pm Kick Off gives travelling fans an extra half an hour, plus its a friday night so not as many people have work the following morning

I dont think 5000 is an unrealistic target for this game, The fact we've beat them once will make the floaters think it should be a good game to get to.

The power of advertising eh? Just received a flyer for this game from the club by e-mail. The message said: "Please forward to all you know!!!".

So, i forwarded it to a few mates who i thought might stand a chance of saying yes. Remarkably, 3 of them have said they'll go (with the condition that we get plastered in town afterwards). Two of these haven't been to a match since we last played Australia and the other one used to be a regular but stopped going in about 1996.

The advert has worked.
I've done my bit.

:D

Just to add - another said he'd rather poke his eyes out with a hot needle so it's not all positive.

He's a wendyball fan. Man Utd as well
In fact - i don't think he knows the difference between Rugby League and Rugby Union. I might as well have sent the flyer to Gok Wan.
