I'm sorry but I really don't buy into this 'he was a good player for us so he'll be a good coach' bo**ox. Wane as it is turns out to be a great coach, everyone who has worked with him has only positive things to say about him - taking over from Noble? I'm not sure.
Noble IMO will probably be the coach of Wigan RL next season - I think it's time people started accepting it.

Adrian Lam in that role would be superb.
Isn't Kris Radlinski rumoured to be taking a coaching role at Wigan, could be a possible target maybe?

Not only has he been serving his apprenticeship since 2006 under Craig Bellamy but he's also worked with the great Wayne Bennett at NZ!
That’s two of the best coaches around at this time.
When you put him against Lam there is only one clear winner surly?
You cant be serious, no disrespect to Stephen Kearney but as assistant to Craig Bellamy and coach of NZ with Wayne Bennett as your mentor, I could do that, we want a tried and tested coach, Brian Smith would be fantastic. Thats if Noble isnt kept on but I would like Noble to stay and finish what he started, we seem to be playing more attractive rugby since the Wakefield game.
Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid. Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal. Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.
