I don't remember specific tackles from the 1970's, I didn't think I'd ever meet anyone quite that geeky, frankly, my brain needs to be reserved for more important things, like food, beer and suchlike.

However I do remember that in the 1970's we weren't quite so precious about our RL players, nor did we faint at the sight of blood on the pitch.

Its one of the things that I miss about RL.

I would have bet my house that it was Andy Hay, but as Tad said, he was at Widnes by then, he left Leeds in 2002 !

Hay left Leeds at the end of 02, and it was Diskin. Top game of RL that one, we lost narrowly IIRC. We then went back later in the season and drew.
