After watching him on Friday there is a fair chance that the future GB half back partnership will be Myler - Tomkins, but it will do Stephen no good to play behind a beaten pack.
Why not break with policy and offer a transfer fee for him - I don't know how long he is contracted for, but to have 2 young GB qualified halfbacks playing for us would be a mouthwatering long term prospect.
One thing for certain, if we don't make a move then Saints or Wires or someone else will.

Why would he want to move from Northampton?

couldnt get in the Saints academy team and released by Widnes, now playing RU - why would he be forming any part in an international RL team at any point?
unless you mean Richie Myler.

Pretty sure he means Richie Myler - fair points and we're blessed at the moment with future GB half-backs - Myler, Tomkins, Wheeler, Eastmond etc.
Maybe we'll be able to drop the ever-poor Maguire/Burrow combo sometime within the next two years.

I was being pedantic.
And yes I would like to see Richie Myler at Wigan.
However, would it be good for the game.
Wasn't the salary cap and Super League all about spreading the talent around to make it more competitive?

I think we've done enough spreading!

that is one of the aims - therefore its fair that Wigan gets its fair share of some talent.

Very Good young player but he is probably better off where he is for the moment. If he was thrown in at Wigan at his age with the expectation that would come with a transfer fee he could sink without trace.
