John Kear is a father figure for everyone who is involved with Wakefield Trinity, whether a player, coach, or fan. He is an inspiration to us all and is a true gentleman in every way.
For me on Friday and i hope every other fan whether that is Wakefield, Saints or a neutral. I hope they stop 5 minutes after the game and give all those guys a massive round of applause to some how much we appreciate what they do on the field and to show we are united as a rugby community.

same here, the game against catalans there was a few going home early and that was after a fantastic win
John Kear, a true gent, genuine and considerate, and understanding, with incredible resources of inner strength and resolve.
Although he will not be looking in any way shape or form for recognition, he is certainly getting it from every where, and how deserving.
I hope he is getting the support he will also be needing.

Just watched John again on look north and you have to wonder how much one man can take before reaching breaking point, he's carried so much on his shoulders over the last few years.
to be honest im losing count of the times he has save this club in last few years.
but still at some points some didnt believe.
thanks John and I mean that personally for saving the club i love from possible extinction when you arrived, rebuilding it, protecting it when many around would have crumbled, and making it, despite everything, the pride of rugby league.
At some point i hope you are able to reflect and take stock, and realise that whatever happens from here on in you will always have a place in any wakefield fans heart.
