I've clearly pricked your conscience by your defensive reaction.
I didn't give my opinions on Goody because at the end of the day a young woman and mother has just died from a terrible disease. Of course you have the right to score points on Internet forums by impressing us with your forthright and justly held views on the British media and all that is wrong with it. Good for you. Feel better?
You have changed nothing and a young woman and mother is still dead from cancer.
Oh, and if i failed to grasp the point of the thread why did my initial post begin with a comment about OK, Hello etc?
Answer me this honestly. My post wasn't aimed at anyone in particular, just expressing my view that the subject matter (the death of a young woman and mother) didn't stimulate me into an intellectual debate about Goody's career or the media in general. Why did you feel the need to react so aggressively to my post? Does your aggressive response perhaps indicate an embarrassment on your part that you didn't feel the need to express compassion but rather used it as a means to flex your intellectual muscles?

Firstly the term "muppet" if you find that term aggressive, god help you in the real world.
Secondly, believe me you really haven`t pricked my conscience, not in the slightest, it wasn`t embarrassed about a lack of compassion or feeling the need to flex any muscle intellectual or not.
What I am, is really ....ing angry, that an someome talentless biggot like JG is on the cover of every paper, and headlines of every news bulletin and has been for weeks, when decent ordinary folk are struggling daily with the same problem, without having millions of pounds thrown at them.
Even gordon brown is saying what a hero she was, same he can`t be bothered saying it to the families of the soldiers coming home in boxes. Or be arsed to visit, or the wounded he cant be bothered to sort out decent treatment for.
With Goody`s demise filling the papers the real storys or worth get ignored. What did the Labour Junior say after 9/11" good day to bury bad news"

Not wanting to score points, because I like to think I'm ahead of that, and certainly would not want to do in on a thread regarding death, but a forum such as this one will always have people who "don't always think about sensitive issues before posting them", and "express their opinions on the board like they would down the pub after 10 pints".
I don't mind personally reading a varied amount of opinions as if everyone had the same it would be boring, but from the quote at the beginning Jord, you come across as the type of poster I have described above, but then you post this:

Double standards, or abit emotional during last night?
I will say it's abit of both, but seems strange sounding all high and mighty when you come out with some rather not very tactful comments on topics discussing sensitive issues.

Because a person like Jade Goody really deserved to be treat with tact, after all she did the same to everyone in her short life.
Kind Regards, Shilpa "Poppadom"
Wemberlee, Wemberlee, We're the famous Carlisle United and we won at Wemberlee
What Jade was like in the past will remain irrelevant at times like this, whether you liked her or not this is still someones life that has been lost and should be treat with the utmost respect and sensitivity.
