I'd agree with you in all but one respect - there was a season, late nineties possibly, when someone at the club decided it would be a great idea to play the dirge just before the players ran out.

It lasted about four home games before my campaign took effect, the old Leeds forum was bombarded with "WTF is that?" posts, that and the fact that the atmosphere inside the ground when the teams took to the field was as flat as a fart.

Late edit - I think it was the season after they'd used "Let me entertain you" as the run-on song - you can imagine the contrast

i remember when they used to play "let me Entertain you" aswell when the players ran out on to the pitch, IMO was pretty good.

It was always the club song, wheeled out for civic receptions and the players aftermatch celebrations perhaps but I can't recall it being sung on the terraces by the fans.

That being the case it's difficult to bring back something that never naturally occurred in the first place.

Floydy for a leeds "anthem" you could ask Adam to rip off another song from Anfield...
