How many games will England be playing this year? 4 at minimum?maybe 5 depending on how they do.

Ireland, Wales etc will be playing about 3 maybe 4 by the looks of it.

Now how many times will English / Irish union play this year?

The world is screaming out for more international fixtres but were is the time for this. The bigger teams must play the smaller ones regardless of 74-0 scorelines.

Four, possibly five.

Wales are scheduled to play five games while Ireland are down to play three games.

Not sure and to be perfectly honest I'm not at all interested.
What has that got to do with rugby league?

2009 is the first year of the RLIF's new international schedule. If you investigate you'll find that there the Wales, Scotland, Ireland and England A teams will be action in the Home Nations tournament.
Wales and SCotland are due to travel to South Africa towards the end of the year.

Fair point, but I believe the jist of the original post was that the RBS 6 nations is a benchmark for international competition and I simply suggested that the build a traditional rivalry, games at under age level would be a good place to start.
I didn't expect the spanish inquisition 8)
We all know of the great work being done at grass roots level internationally, I just suggested another possible way to move it on.

I thought Ireland were heading to SA as well but if not good to see Wales and Scotland are.

I know a tour was mooted, but I heard that money may have a big say in whether it happens and if so, where they go.
