everyone knows the jjb was built on crap land, during the summer the pitch is brilliant, there are 2 teams playing on it now until may and it will look in brilliant condition up until late october november, every idiot knows grass does not grow in the winter,
why do they always blame the rugby
Alan Smith was commentating on the game and he has a pitch fixation when it comes to the JJB. The fact is he's a firkin ignoramous who hasn't spent a single second researching any of his opinions on how or why the pitch gets into the state it does.
He drives me up the pi$$in' wall with it. We were to blame for the mud, and the cutting up and the huge brown stripe down the middle and now its fixed we should be fired off to keep it that way.
The man is a complete know nowt, I just think he's bitter that he gets sent "up North", when no-one else wants to do it. Pr!ck!!
If syphilis was good enough for Al Capone, Scott Joplin and Toulouse-Lautrec, it is good enough for Dave Whelan.

There was a good 2500+ from Hull

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions

there just scared. For some reason football fans have this irrational fear of rugby. I think they think neutral sports fans are going to wake up one day and go "oh rugby is the greatest sport ever i'm never going to watch football ever again" as i much as i know some on here agree with that, its not going to happen.
sports fans will watch both and the whole pitch things is something that gets brought up every year, we're not going to leave that ground, for a start we're the only ones who can fill it!
i'm a big football fan and let me tell you most of the commentators are not liked by most football fans, especially lawenson. He's an A class tool.
We just need to laugh at them and how insecure they really are. Plus their 7th so the pitch has hardly effect them much (help by how crap everyone else has been this year) and Kirklands quote just explains the teams attatide to how they play football, and suggest attractive football is not their plan.
Stevo on a Craig Smith intersept, "that was like throwing tomato seeds out of a moving train window and coming back a year later and tomatoes have grown!"
Eddies reaction, "I don't know what he's been taking but i wants some"
Wayne Rooney, meanwhile, says he has failed to be gripped by England's rugby union World Cup bid.
"I've not seen it," said the England striker. "I've been watching the rugby league."

We get the same thing from the Huddersfield Town fans yet, infact the Giants are the reason they are in Division 3. They also blame Ken Davy who saved their club from administration a few years back.
The blinkered views these footie fans/commentators have is amazing - we don't go round kicking hods out of ground and I am yet to see damaged grass from the uncontested scrums we have!
