As with all things FC, what we "should" be doing and what we actually do can be markedly different!

But again, I'm not really interested too much in how much a player is paid, it's more whether or not they deserve to be paid at all. The only time the amount is ever an issue for me is if we lose someone important to our squad or miss out on a quality addition because of how much someone else is on. To a large extent, the nitty-gritty of numbers is nothing to do with the fans IMO.
