Is he that unfit? Someone who was at the game said to me that he didn't seem to be blowing at all when taken off and could probably have had another stint towards the end of the game.

A 10-minute sub does not help the situation either IMO, you simply can't expect 3-4 members of your pack to play 60+ minutes every week and it not have an impact on their level of performance.

Agree 100%, it's Agars achilles heel by his own admission last season that he didn't get the hang of working the bench, seems he is still having problems there.
FWIW I thought against the Bulls we looked as though we could score in every set, whereas this week I thought our playmakers (Thorman & Berrigan) in the 2nd half where at a loss and looked alienated to each other. In the 1st half Houghton had Cas on their back foot, and not to utilise him in the 2nd was strange to say the least. Moa in 10 min spells does not give any respite to Yak/Dowes as he doesn't weaken the opposition defence for long sustained periods, he is minimally effective at the moment.

All existing and generally known ways to immortality can be divided into four catagories.
The way of the Fakir.
The way of the Monk.
The way of the Yogi.
The most honourable being 'The way of the FC'

he better get the hang of working his bench sharpish then.

Its not rocket science either.

Dont start a young hooker, play him 20 and then not put him back on for the last 15 when the hooker on the pitch is shattered.
Stop trying to play your 2 starting props for over 60-70 mins each.
Stop playing Manu and tickle for 80 mins.

That just about does it!

That's how I saw it. The interchange seemed a bit premeditated but I accept that as a fan in the stand I might not have had all the facts to hand that Rich did. :)

I hate it when you get the impression that the changes are planned before the game, subs should be used to react to what is going on.

Planned or react, he did neither on Friday.

I have no issue with planned as he should generally know what stints his players are used to dealing with but agree that flexibility needs to be there to react.
