Personally I would bring in Bridge and give him a chance in the halves he hasn't been a favorite of mine but his performances in the reserves mean he should be given a chance he could also take over the kicking off hicks as he has been really poor this season and should be left to concentrate on being a winger. Briers and Clarke(he has to be the worst hooker in SL but that's another thread ) should be sent to Barrow or Widnes on loan until we can get rid completely they are our weak links IMO . Briers needs to learn there is no I in TEAM . The rest of the TEAM were fantastic today Cooper stood out for me and Harrison had his best game this season imo,King also did what he said and let his rugby do the talking hats off to him it took balls to apologize like he did and that alone earned my respect .
Bridge was turd yesterday.
Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

not at all feller you just rarely get involved in explaining your guff about Pennys defence ....like when i stuck a photo of King going walk about in the saints game you stayed away from that debate.....why was that...?
you wait for it all to die down and then say after a 60 point battering in a game Penny took no part in.....Penny's still the weak link in defence.
have some substance to your argument thats all..........I'm not Wayne Bennett I dont know everything about Rugby League but I wont slag a player off unless I see stuff with my own eyes......

I always explain myself but when there are numerous threads about the same thing, i cant be bothered typing the same stuff 3 or 4 times over.
Even though we conceded 60 points at Quins, King wasn't to blame for any of the tries, that was my point.
Briers has been turd as you put it for since he lost the captaincy it isn't just a drop in form,1 off's fair enough but Briers has had enough chances ,I just prey we have learn't our lesson with holding onto Cullen for to long i and don't make the same mistake with Briers offering him a new contract imo would be detrimental to the club !

Regardless, Bridge is doing nothing to displace Briers at stand-off. He has it, whether he wants it enough is a differfent matter.

I saw him play yesterday.

What about giving some credit to the Hullkr fullback ......who was their best player by far yesterday ........ one kick he caught was actually kicked in between him and his winger but he raced to get to the ball and caught it on the full......
thats a good full back making a decent kick look poor.........
