This may sound stupid and you may laugh at me as i didnt know the lad etc
I feel so upset about this, this game to me is such a close sport in terms of fans, players, clubs etc (I know sometimes its not shown on the boards, but ive seen it in St Helens this weekend) and for somebody to lose their life playing it is so heartbreaking
My heart goes out to the Family and to everyone connected to Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, a horrible last 6 months for the club
All my condolences go to Leon's family and may he rest in peace. Such a sudden and unexpected death can never be understood or easily accepted.
However, subject to the feelings of the Wakefield players who would otherwise be playing on Friday, I hope the game goes ahead. Leon died playing a game he loved and enjoyed and it's postponement for any other reason would detract from his love of the game.
This has hit me quite hard.
I feel proper upset about this might be strange as i never knew the lad.

R.I.P
I can only echo the sentiments of everyone else on this thread, the age of this player and the fact he died playing the game we all love so much seems to make it even more shocking and upsetting.
Events like this though really do prove how caring the Rugby League community is - regardless of which club people support I think todays events have shocked and stunned every rugby league fan.
