RIP Leon, anyone who pulls on a shirt and goes out there for our enjoyment deserves our respect.
I feel gutted tonight but proud of the whole RL family.
My thoughts are with all his family.

Every man is mortal,
But the good name never dies,
Of he that has done well.

Deepest condolences to Steve and Donna, and Leon's brothers and sisters.
I have known Leon and his family for many years, and he recently lost his beloved grandad Dave, a former Leeds player.
Leon was on the Leeds Rhinos Scholarship for a few years as well as playing for the Academy foundation, before moving to Salford and then Wakefield.
He was a no nonsence forward and as tough and aggresive than most.
I am sure there are many former team mates and friends at Leeds Rhinos, Salford, Wakefield and Churwell who will be devastated at this news.....rest in peace mate..

in our grief as well please spare a thought for the other players from Celtic reserves , especially the poor kid who was involved in the innocuous tackle
