Hi all

I'm coming across with about 20 mates for a stag night in July to Manchester - we are all taking in the Salford vs Wakey game in the evening. We normally go for a few beers in the little working mans club next to the ground. Can anyone suggest anywhere else to visit before the game? In addition - how do I get in touch with the club to put something on the tannoy for the mug who's getting wed???

PS - we are very well behaved - it's a bit of a "mature" stag night as most of us are late 30's or 40's.

Any ideas welcome

Cheers

I'm still laughing at Cas!!!

The chapel st area is probably best, you've got the cresent, the old pint pot, the new oxford and the kings arms amongst others.

You can get a bus from chapel st to the top of weaste lane which takes about 10 minutes or just get a taxi.

Jesus we spend enough time defending Salford's image don't send people willingly to Eccles and Weatherspoons in particular.
