Please let the coach get on with it he knows what he is doing he as the winners medals to prove it.
Agreed, we (Cas) were in the same position last year and have seen great improvements this year. Patience, bide your time, it will come.

As far as I can see we only have White, Talau and Wilshere injured or awol who would get in the first team out of the 28 man squad. I also recall quite a few people saying before the season 'the back line looks a bit weak, might struggle if we get a few injuries to any back line regulars'

The play is boring, every team knows what we are going to do and the coach does not seem to have any answers. When people say well go and support someone else that really pi$$es me off. I know we will not win SL but I expect to be able to watch a entertaining game. When our sum total of tactics is 5 drives and a kick then something is drastically wrong. We need a winger, we have two injured but have another Thornley who scored on his debut. A Wigan lad with something to prove against his home club, what did McRae do drop him, and yes he was cleared to play. The Aussies are hurting are they well make them hurt more and drop them, as watching them is certainly painful to me.
Agreed.
People giving the 3 year licence as an excuse to the dros we're turning in week in week out is also p1ssing me right off!!!

There is so many reasons that three year argument is utter nonsense. People could accept a tough year if they felt progress was being made but as it stands we have won one game against a team in their first Super League match and have since not been in a game for longer than half an hour. Talk of 3 years indicates progression but we are flat lining fast and any sane person knows it is only gonna get worse. Anyone want to suggest when we will next win a game?

A major difference with Cas and us is that last season they played their younger players in their correct positions ie. Westerman at 13 not in the centres, Shenton at centre etc etc. I'm also quite sure that they didn't, and most probably wouldn't even dream of, play a talented half back on the wing...we've played a dull, unattractive and completely regressive brand of rugby for almost the past 3 years (2nd half of the play-off season, relegation season, last season and almost a quarter of this season)...this is all in a time when the British game has progressed massively (as a spectator sport at least) and fast, exciting rugby is the order of the day - we look to be single-handedly trying to get it back to the dark ages of 5 drives and a kick, only we usually do 5 shit drives and a shit kick - that's if we manage to get through the 5 shit drives in the first place to get to the shit kick!!
And as per Walshovskis question - I personally have absolutely no idea when we'll win our next game, I honestly can't see us beating anyone in SL unless there is massive massive improvement across the board.

i have more chance of winning the Euro millions than salford winning another game, that includes all games played in the 3 years we have left at this level, then when we are back in the national league we might win a few there.

Some of the posters on here will be happy with that as next year they'll be claiming we're only two years into a three year licence and we have just put a new squad together, let the second rate aussies get used to the pace of SL and settle in and get off the old and decrepit useless senior players back and get behind the manager, he once won a SL medal with St. Helens......................Repeat one year later cos they'll still be wearing those rose tinted spectacles as their belief in their beloved Salford knows no bounds.
Get a grip will you, action is required NOW, STOP molly coddling them you fools and see it for what it is.
this will not be the end, or even the beginning of the end.
It is merely the end of the beginning
As I say we all cannot be wrong? I took a new potential fans on friday who had never been to a rugby game, he was able to pin point Salford's weaknesses & he does not understand the game, fitness was one point he made, I ended up taking him back into the pub after the game & told him it is normally not this bad! I tell fibs as well.
