Do you know what really annoys me............. Your apparent determination to get a bloody freebie !!! Jesus its £15.00 !!

If you were a real supporter you would make the short 1.5 hour trip to Barrow get a ticket and make a day of it. You have all moaned that the jobless had priority because of the timng of the ticket giveaway bonanza. Here's an opportunity for those of you who can afford a day out. I know local Wigan season ticket holders who have simply 'BOUGHT' a ticket and are not fussed on a bloody freebie.

You should know by now that the rfl are full of empty promises.

The A590 is a much better road now and is pretty much ll duel carriage way until Ulverston which is 10 mins away from Barrow.

Word around here is that the general sale tickets are going lke hotcakes ! Best make a move instead of hoping you will get a freebie !

IF 10,000 SEASON TICKET HOLDERS WERE THIS KEEN TO ATTEND ALL AWAY GAMES THEN THIS WOULD SOLVE ALL THE ATTENDANCE PROBLEMS FOR THE SMALLER CLUBS.

You know what annoys me ????

ássholes like you that can do nothing but whine because you are desperate to feel superior about an inferior club.

And as to your claim of my not be a "real supporter" - simply because I am going to wait for a ticket that I have already paid for as part of my Season Ticket price - all I can say is "Fúck you buddy"

FYI - I (and my 5-year-old daughter) travel to almost every match.
The only one that we don't do is Catalans

I *won't* be making the trip to Cumbria today, despite having lived for around 40% of my life up to the age of 18 in Silloth, because I have a wife, a mother and a mother-in-law, *ALL* of whom are more important for me to spend time with than being in a car on the M6.

I was assured by Mick Hogan that we *should* be OK, as we will be receiving 30% of whatever the upgraded capacity is.

Don't think people are moaning about not getting a freebie, they're upset about not getting a ticket. If the 30% rule applies, which I don't know, there should be enough for everyone who wants to go.

Are you seriously suggesting that people drive up to Barrow to get a ticket in advance?

Seriously you should win some sort of award for missing the point that many times!

Ha ha I love the way you say if you were a REAL fan you’d make the trip! Many of the people entitled to free tickets are as close to ‘Real fans’ as you can get! They go to every home and away game every week including Catalan and the Millennium weekend and this CC 4th round draw was supposed to be for once on someone else which imo is well deserved. What can’t you see about that?

I’m sorry if you have a problem because your club is that insignificant that it’s desperate for all the Wigan fans to come and pay but sadly it’s not on! Why all a sudden should we have to pay because we’ve been drawn against Barrow where if we would have been drawn a half decent team with a good capacity we would have had an adequate allocation of free tickets?

They should say if this situation arises in the future, people with away attendances will get priority. That will encourage people to pre-purchase tickets for away days - which is a good thing because a % of pre-sold away ticket revenue goes to Wigan.

I'd agree with that. I know it's a rare occasion when things like this happen but it's a fair system and should be used especially if we get to finals. It annoys the hell out of me when glory hunters come out the woodwork and get the same priority as someone who may not have a season tickets but has been to the majority of the games all season.

Bringing my experience of supporting Spurs into it I think it's a good system. Quite rightly when we make finals the supporters who have travelled to the likes of Middlesbrough on a Wednesday night and haven't missed a game all year get first priority.

Well you obviously have the required respect for the opposition dont you !! A half decent team ??

To say Barrow is an insignificant club shows your narrow mindedness and distinct lack of rugby league knowledge. Barrow RLFC has a massive history. Not to long ago your mighty club was on the bones of its ar*e and facing oblivion mate. Was only a couple of seasons ago that Wigan got away with a quite large salary cap breach which cost Castleford a place in SL and maybe should have seen Wigan relegated - All history now but true all the same. Get your head out of your ar*e and look further than the M62 corridoor.

Why bother whingeing about a ticket if Wigan are going to whoop a less than half decent team at a crap ground (That is owned by the club incidently) ? I personally wouldn't bother my booty going all that way to watch a whooping ! Seriously mate underestimate Barrow at your peril. Craven Park is a proper ground and im pretty sure a massive majority of Wigan supporters would love to have the old Central park back. With plenty of supporters in the ground on the 5th the atmosphere will be a great one.

The allocation of tickets is not Barrow RLFC's fault . Blame the RFL for making false promises and your own club for allowing people to pick up 80 tickets at a time !

For the record I know of at least 1 Wigan season ticket holder who has PAID for a ticket just to make sure they got one instead of waiting for a freebie !

I was not suggesting to simply drive here and get a ticket. The Lake district and surrounding area has loads to offer - I said why not make a day of it and get a ticket at the same time.

I'll take the 'Real fans' quote back as you have a point but how many of the people who have a free ticket would be travelling if they had to pay because Wigan never take 10,000 to away games. I'd say the problem has arisen because the 4th round has been labelled a FREEBIE without the RFL thinking about how many grounds can actually accomodate this amount of travelling fans. Also Wigan should have come up with a better system (i.e a voucher or ticket stub from away games) I wish Barrow held 20,000 fans which would have kept all parties happy I think but it doesn't.

I hope your 'real' fans are successfull in getting tickets but it will be hard. Some seem to be getting them via phone.

When you bought these seoson tickets did it hurt your eyes to see that you could be playing at a small owned ground instead of a big shared ground where you are often told to sling your hook if you get to the playoffs,
And it would be impossible for ALL of you to go as we have give you 30% of the initial attendence, just to let you know, wev sold 5000

To be honest, most clubs are professional enough to know their own stadiums capacity.

If the capacity figures were known, set and clear then everybody would know their stance.
