O Driscoll is a very good rugby player. Hes got the better of Faz for Ireland. Try to be objective instead of the usual crap were better than them without actually knowing that much about the player.
You mean a specialist centre outplayed an ex RL PROP (who was, let's face it injured and over the hill) in a game that prop had been playing for 18 months as opposed to 15 years?

Sorry Faz went to prop when we had to use him. He was still loose forward when we did have enough players to cover. Point that you seemed to miss.
But werent you calling him Trash. And judging him on ability. Now he has more skill and ability than any centre is SL. Only Gidley comes close to him. He can run the ball, brings players in and leads very well.
Now surely any SL player is better than any union Trash.

I accidently watched a few minutes of the France v Italy game while waiting for something to start on sky (i can't stop channel surfing), there was 5 or 6 kicks on the stick end all within 1 miute of play, i shouted obscenitys at the tv and flicked over, what a pile og Dog poop

You miss the point.
If you are seriously trying to compare O Driscolls centre play vs England to Faz (which you were) then you are deluded.
Now on your other point, I would rather have, for example, Carmont in a Wigan RL side any day of the week to O Driscoll. Any day.
Against an organised RL defence O Driscoll would be made to look what he is - very very average.
Now, given 5 years of the Communist Cap, I have no doubt that the future generations of RU players WILL be better than their SL counterparts.
However, for the moment, that is not true.

He is average at best. He would just about make the Warrington Centres (if Matt King was having a REALLY bad day ). Play him vs Gidley, Senior or Carmont and he would look like what he is, a very average rugby player.
Yet despite this the RFL fail to market our game as they should. Instead of promoting the game they drag it down via the CC. This is what makes me really angry.
Fantastic athletes, great skill and superlative commitment, handcuffed by an inept governing body who live in the 19th Century.

Cannot be bothered reading this thread but to state O'Driscoll is average shows a massive ignorance of him as a player.
Just read the last page and you actually do think he is average.

On the subject of O'Driscoll, the commentary team were virtually peeing their panties over his 'amazing lines of running'. Looked like he did what any centre would do.
