Maybe we can't fill out an international stadium of 70-80k but we could probably get 50k imo which is still a dam sight better than using the JJB isn’t it?
Would it be feasible to build our own National RL stadium for use for internationals, CC and the GF? How much do we spend a year do you reckon renting out different stadiums?
We need something like that tho to take us forward.
Wembley is the national football stadium, and we rent it out for one game, just like we rent out Old Trafford for one game, just like we rent out Murrayfield etc etc etc.
Rugby league can't afford to build stadiums. A £2m loss on the last world cup over here nearly bankrupt the sport. Just how much do you think a 60/70k stadium costs, one that would be full twice a year?

So that's two more than who can win the RL world cup but yet everyone goes crazy over NZ winning the thing? Same difference is it not cause in my book it looks a hell of a lot easier to win in RL? If it was easy as what you say to win the grand slam why is it such a big deal to do it? Surly if everyone did it every year it wouldn’t be such a big deal?
Did you see England at the WC and you want to call that skill level rubbish? Put it this way so called world class players like Wellens, Gardner or Senior wouldn't have got in either of the Wales or Ireland backlines today.
So what actually is your point? Cause it looks like RL is miles behind RU on the international stage?
Senior would walk into every 6N RU team. I agree the other 2 you mentioned are rubbish.
Are you honestly trying to tell me that the 4 Wales and Ireland Centres on display tonight are better than SL (even given it's gimped nature via the CC) can muster?

OK - Hypothetical question: The RFL invest in a national stadium; where do they build it? A few locations:
London - Far away but good for hiring out. Cost of land etc would be high.
Manchester - M62 belt but good for hiring out.
Birmingham - Not too far; outside of the M62 so can't be accused of being flatcappers. Again, good for hiring out. Close proximity to West Country, might draw a few liberal Union fans who remember Wigan 7s etc?
Feel free to add more.
Conroy - Being a Latics fan i'm already immune to watching sh*te.
Sally Cinnamon - Treat the Saints forum as you would if you met a girl from St Helens. Best policy would be to avoid altogether but if you absolutely can't resist temptation then take every possible precaution.
Only caught the 2nd half and I actually thought it was a good spectacle. So glad that last penalty didn't effect me. The Irish fans must have been sh*tting themselves.

Yes i am being serious
BOD
Darcy
Henson
Roberts
All four are better than Senior Imo.
Add to that Shane Williams, Lee Byrne and Rob Kearney are all fantastic ruby players who would walk into the England RL team.
