You see similar things with boxers. Once they have suffered their first knockout, they tend to develop a glass jaw.[/quote]Willie Mason-Fielden springs to mind

I haven't seen Fielden knocked out since then. His jaw seems fine. It's his legs that seem to have stopped functioning.

The Watmough incident and last night were totally different and unrelated.

last night was just an awful technique from Rob, coming from the attackers right hip and putting your head across their left hip will get ANY player a concussion.

As Bluey said on the interview, it was nothing more than poor technique and something they will work on.

Oh, and Saddened, we do miss him badly when he doesn't play. Our performances before the Manly game showed that.

Quote:Every player in our squad could probably earn more money with another club. But they prefer to sacrifice a few extra quid in their back pocket to share special memories. And playing at a place like Old Trafford on a night like this makes it all worthwhile.

As G1 said, Rob just needs to work on getting his head in the right place at the tackle. The Watmough incident was simply a hospital pass by Peacock. Two entirely different incidents.

Rob clearly wasn't spot on when he came back, as he would not normally miss the tackles of Flannery etc.

It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

I thought Paul Cullen had started this threat.

Burrow - can't understand why he s not wearing a head-guard? Didn't he used to?

Wore one for some of the 2004 season but think that was only because h picked up a pretty nasty cut- IIRC it was at Salford.
