i attended that nostalgia evening as it was called it was excellent looking at the memorabillia and holding joe thompsons medals especially his two cup winners medals made my hair stand on end.
it was a leeds veteran fans evening ,but like has been said earlier or £5 on the door

I'm only 29 but went along as Joe Thompson is actually my great uncle, and shamefully I didn't know nearly enough about him. Even though I've never seen either of them play I found it to be a really interesting evening.

Behold ... He's one of the greats.

His photo has been on the wall in the Supporters Club for years.
