That's why the sad feckers think places like St Helens and Widnes are in Liverpool, which is where scousers come from. You can bet they wouldn't mind having Jammer in their team. I know I wouldn't!
Anyway, have a good season Saints. Go 'ead der Jammer la!

If they ever learned that the River Mersey flows through Warrington they'll be calling Wire fans scousers next

Ewwenorfolk wrote:Well said  these so called "Leeds fans" can't stand losing. Leeds fans of the previous generation were used to losing to a better team and could accept it, nowadays anytime Leeds lose there's always something to moan about. There's no need for so much bitterness in a well fought, excellent game of RL.

Well, you'll have a different view than someone from Leeds. Everyone knows Leeds in the British equivalent of Mississippi in the 60s. All those burning crosses, the big pointy hoods hiding the big pointy heads, the Paul Sterling incident. You know the type of thing. I'll always distinguish Leeds from the rest of Yorkshire.

No I'm not tbh. When have I even hinted that? I'm disappointed about that, obviously, but not bitter. I just try to be optimistic for the future

Ooh you liar! I watched a couple of your matches last season and the language from the teraces was filthy. Not to mention the bottles thrown at Whitehaven players. It wasn't kids doing that!

Right, I've posted something similar to this before. St Helens may be classed as Merseyside and I put Merseyside down as my address. However, scousers come from Liverpool, which is also in Merseyside but not St Helens. Close proximity to someone does not make you the same as those people. Leeds is close to Bradford so are all those people in Leeds Bradfordians? of course not.
There is a homosexual couple live close to me, but that doesn't mean that I or any of my neighbours are gay does it. You may think calling Saints fans scousers is a wind up but it doesn't really bother me that much. I'm born and bred in St Helens, 12 miles from Liverpool. I have worked in Liverpool and met some of the best people you could ever hope to meet there and I'd rather be classed as a scouser than a Manc any day of the week. Appologies to Nurse Navy Saint and any other Saints fan from Manchester way BTW.
So all you Yarksheer folk, or are you all Humbersiders now, call us what you want, scousers, stains what ever. You'll be calling us super league champs come October.

Fiction. St Helens is in Lancashire, as is Liverpool.

I Still put Merseyside and as you leave St Helens northwards there's a sign saying "Welcome to West Lancashire". I am also proud to be a Lancastrian but I am also happy to say that I'm a Merseysider.

Were you one of those saying this in 2007 or 2008? What makes you so sure you your team will even be there.

As usual your arrogance knows no bounds.

You chimps dont know when to stop digging
