With the kind of bets most people can put on 6/4 is not value, if you have 8K to chuck about then of course any bet is "value".

6/4 is fantastic value if you have it down as a 1/2 shot. Its all relative!

Agree with the sentiment though......I backed a 400-1 winner at Thirsk recently.....value or just bleedin lucky???
