Shame that the Miners ' perfect ' record for the year has been lost via committe rather than on the pitch

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Crusaders U-18's wanted it, the ref wanted it on, for some reason Leigh Miners didn't. There was rumour it was due to the injuries picked up the Thursday previously in the derby game but still weird considering the distance traveled. Then again if the games get wavered as it looks they might a team wins the league without playing it's main rivals which is no way to win it in my opinion.
I think the question should be more one of what happened to Leigh Miners Rangers?
If the pitch was deemed playable by the ref, surely it is irrelevant what the teams want??
I thought it was simply down to the official to decide whether the game went ahead?

Unfortunatley probably not
Apparently now you will be travelling up to Leigh to play Miners but will not travel up to play Leigh East
This will most likely cost Leigh East a play off spot
Bloody discraceful
If you cannot make the fixtures , dont bloody enter the competition

The 0-0 result is more than Leigh East would have got, in my opinion, had the game been played having lost the away game 28-10.
At the moment East are playing very well , thye have had an absolute terrible season with injuries and suspensions , at the moment they have a full squad to pick from and have been giving all the top teams very difficult times
As you know down in Wales we lost 2 players in the 1 st five minutes and were already a player short
Not the point , East have not called a single match off all season but are now going to be denied the chance to make the play offs
I would take Easts to beat anybody except maybe the Miners at the moment , and we made things very difficult for them the other week
All this comes back to the picking of 6/7 players from Celtic earlier in the season for the GB team and yet only one from the 2 Leigh teams
If your face suits you get what you want , discraceful

And what have we got exactly?
A draw for a home game that was called off, a defeat which was drawn up by the magic calculator for the miners away game and a draw with you lot which would have meant an 18 point improvement on how you did down here.
I think it is plain to see we have hardly done well out of this.

Tell me what you have to lose or gain ?
You lose to miners you finish 2nd or 3 rd
You beat Miners you finish 2 nd or 3 rd
You know as I do that you do not have 6/7 of the best juniors outside SL in your team , yet they get picked for GB and you cancell matches as a result
As for trying to double guess scores if you know anything about the game you know the score does not always tell the true story , are you suggesting you are on a par with Saints because of the 4 point loss , or Wire are 50 odd points worse than Quins
Dont talk crap

Wait there a minute, it isn't me who is talking crap here.
If you would have beaten us 150-0 up at Leigh East you would have one more point than you currently have. Surely it is down to you losing the other 6 games, including one against us, that gives you headache you lot currently have. I say we would have been on point better off after our game against you, you think you could have gained a point.
Surely losses at places like Saddleworth and home and away to Featherstone Lions are more of a reason you are in the position you are in. Correct me if I'm wrong here but you're currently in the top six anyway?

But it is now out of our hands if we stay there because of other clubs problems
