winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

If we brought in top class props and then have a front row that can dominate games for 80 mins every week then Leuluai & Tomkins could be ideal.
Both are young and could form a partnership for 8-10 years.
We don't really know what Tommy could do when behind a winning pack game after game. He's never had that in his time at Wigan.
The priority has to be the front row and the quality of the props we bring in.
If we have a winning pack it changes everything.

We will get 1 prop at most for the 2010 season

I agree. There'd really be no sense in buying more than one new prop. We currently have five, which is one too many from the POV of O'Carroll and Prescott (and isn't Ben Davies a young prop as well?). If Coley leaves at the end of this year, we could probably justify replacing him with someone really good - but to buy two new props is simply non-viable if we want to spend money usefully elsewhere.

Unless we can somehow get rid of Fielden as well  Noble would need to go before any chance of that though

Fielden getting form would be ideal

Yes Ben Davies is a young prop as well. Looked very impressive against Warrington.

We need a prop_

1- Steve Price
2- Andy Lynch
3- Mark O'Meley
4- Petro Civeniceva
5- Kylie Leuluai.

In that order go for them.

Also we need a stand off -

1- Darren Lockyer
2- Karmichael Hunt
3- Jamie Lyon
4- Thomas Bosc

I would make a play for Justin Hodges too as a right centre, its worth a go.

Fullback -

1- Sean Briscoe

I dont want Pat wasted at FB, if our half backs had half a brain as soon as we got in their 20 I would kick to the corner for Pate, nobody will out jump him and we would score every time, why dont they do that?

Don't be too realistic, will you. Lockyer, Lyon, O'Meley, Civoneciva.  No chance.

dont worry, im sure we will lose the hundreds of k's in 'upgrades' or just in the wind as last year

I've seen them bomb a quarter final, bottle a semi final, finish as league leaders, but I've still, never, seen the Wire win the league

According to the express yesterday, we are moving for Lynch for next season.

I think Mathers, Coley, Bailey, Phelps & Smith are gone at the end of the year. I think anyone would be suprised if they stayed.
