How some Rovers fans can moan about the extra £1 is daft. FWIW i dont agree with us taking the £1, but in the wider context i can see the funny side of some of your lot moaning.

Hudge slaps an extra £7 quid for Hull fans ONLY, and pockets the rest.
Hull slap a quid on for ALL paying spectators and give it to charity.

Erm, because it does not relate to charity donations.

The £1 is an additional charge, just like the £7. Only difference being that FC are then giving the additional monies made to charity as a donation. The £1 is not a donation.

Fighting a losing battle me thinks !!

If you're complaining about Rovers raising the price for the derby match you may have a valid point. However that is not the issue here. If you can't see the point people are making then you're not the only one fighting a losing battle.

We can see the point that some rovers fans dont want to give the £1 thinking FC will take the credit of the donation.

Which is worse though, taking £1 and giving it to charity or taking £7 and spending it behind the bar in Tavern?
