You could well be right. We'll have to see how things pan out. McNamara clearly doesn't rate him that highly despite Halley admitting that he was sent on loan because he was out of condition.

I thought he seemd to be blowing as he ran in all his tries.

Dave Halley has been a credit to your club and himself both on and off the field during his time with us at Trinity. A great lad who gave his all and his efforts were greatly appreciated by Trinity fans. He scored some great trys, made some fantastic breaks and took the ball up time and time again. He tackled well and was never afraid of doing the hard work out of defense . We played at Hull KR with 13 of the first team squad injured. Dave took a big knock in the first half and played 60 mins on one leg for us, above and beyond what could be expected. Again, a real credit to Bradford. Many thanks to Dave and good luck.

Won't make a difference on the wing, because he won't get the ball. Might as well just chuck him into FB after Platt's performance (especially the 20 yd pass to no one.
i know a lot of ppl say halley is too small etc etc for our wings but, i wonder if he has the makings of a decent half back, hes quick zippy on his feet and can actually pass a ball, not saying he would drop straight in the halfs but a little guidence and we could have our very own home grown 6 or 7, we already have an alternate f/b in our named squad in hyde who deserves a shout

He started at the club as a halfback it was our coaching staff that moved him out to the wing.
I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying.
