Nothing to do with Warrington but reading Terry Matterson's comments about the Huddersfield players using this technique in the League Express concerns me a little.
He basically accused the Huddersfield players of moving there arms towards the neck of the opponent once contact has been made on the chest, in order to slow down the ptb, obviously Nathan Brown denies the claim that his team use or he coach's such technique.
Reading further into the article it stats that Brown was accused of the same thing whilst coaching in Australia and excluding Matterson, 2 other Super League coach's have been to Cummings this season to complain about the technique being used by the Huddersfield players.
We see this technique being used more and more often in our game by all clubs but to be coaching players to perform this technique should eradicated and met with a hefty disciplinary IMO, or is Mr Cummings saying all of the above is just a coincidence
Anybody have any opinion on this.
