It may be that the bereaved family would want to attend the game when the minutes silience took place. It may be that the next home game after the death of their loved one was to soon for the family, maybe the family want time to come to terms with their loss.
You can see, if you think, that there can be many reasons for a family not having a minutes silence so soon after the death of a loved one.
From the tone of a couple of posts it seems that some people have concluded that the club have refused the family a minutes silence, why on earth would you think that, in my experience the club have always honoured all our ex players, no doubt having taken the wishes of the family into account.
For posters to use terms like ` bad by the club ` and for zorro to use the term ` disgusting ` is indeed well out of order. I would suggest that the mods remove those offensive posts.
I think your post states all that needs to be stated in this case.
I'm locking this thread for now, because this kind of unfounded criticism is disrespectful to all parties involved.
As has been stated elsewhere umpteen times before, if anyone feels strongly about this or other issues, they should contact the club directly and seek information there first. At least get all the facts before the mud-slinging commences.
