In Scruton's case, wanting a contract to reflect something he had yet to achieve on the field was a bit presumptuous though.

im a big scroots fans but!!!! i wonder how his fat pay cheque feels now?
just as tempting or would he rather be home with his mates leading the victory song.
i know its a short career and you have to do whats right at the time. but a part of me also says if its such a short career then get a job after you finish and work till 65 like most others. if your a journey man at an also ran club then fair enough but if your with the best club in the land??
i can see why it happens, i just think there might have been a bit of soul searching from those who got a little ahead of themselves and jumped ship too early.
cash wont stop scroots feeling like total $hite by the end of most weekends.

I'd Be Gutted To Lose Kylie Leuluai Especially To A Rival Super League Club Such As Wigan Warriors, Although Come The End Of March He Will Be 31 So I Just Hope He Isn't Looking For A Better Pay DayOtherwise We Will Be Best Looking For A Younger Option...

Scruton's re-signing for the Rhinos would obviously incurr a transfer fee, as he is under contract at the Bulls for 3 years, i couldn't theirfor imagine GH re-signing a player that he's just let leave the club, and also pay a transfer fee for him can you?

Re-signing player's that have left Leeds is pretty much a non-starter in any case. The transfer fee element only adds to the improbability even further.

That's my opinion on the matter too

I actually think that Kylie has improved our front row since he joined the club, he was used in Aus mainly as an impact player, but he has evolved at the Rhinos into a player that can actually start the match, and who make a very telling impact as well
If Kylie's motives are solely based on money then i say good luck to him, let him sign for whoever for more money, as he's in the twilight of his career
Or he could do as Brent Webb did, and reject a higher contract offer from elsewhere<Warrington> and stay at a club where he's clearly very happy and have a very good chance of winning further silverware
