in most of the papers el ninho was adjudged to be the man of the match but for me masch was absolutely brilliant and controlled the mid field,
that said i think that the title is a bridge too far for us this season but taking 6 points off united more than makes up for it, if only we had turned our superiority against the likes of stoke, and hull into goals the we would be celebrating our first title in 2 decades.

mind you our fans did start singing "there's only 1 harold shipman" in response
A thread starts talking about fans making tw@ts of themselves and then you turn up. Coincedence? I was at the game and I didn't hear any specific references to Hillsbrough from the Stretford End. However, United were singing 'Murderers' which could be construed as either Hillsbrough or Heysel. I also saw inflatable airplaces being thrown around the away end.
It's not pleasant. All clubs have culprits, including Manchester United, and it leaves a bad taste in the mouth. It is especially poor in United and Liverpool's case considering that both clubs have had particularly unpleasant experiences in this regard.
I'd much rather focus of the football to be honest.

What a bizzarre statement - taking 6 points off United makes up for not winning the league. How blissfully small time. For the avoidance of doubt, I'd happily lose 2 games a season to Liverpool if it meant United winning the league each season. I suspect most proper Liverpool fans feel the same.

sorry to burst your one eyed manc bubble but THERE WERE songs being sang about hillsborough!!!! it's imbeciles like you that give the majority of decent united fans a bad name, and by the way i agree with you about the simpletons in the liverpool end who taunt united about munich!!
i also well remember when we were the dominant team in england you lot treated a game against us as a cup final and were overjoyed if you beat us!!
