He's about as American as George Carmont.

We should be looking to reduce the number of imports, not increase them, or even keep them the same.

It's clear to me that most people on here don't give a poop about the club itself, only that Wigan win something.

Coley's missed tackles and penalty stats are every bit as bad as I thought.

Wigan have ALWAYS had overseas players, in fact some of our best have been.

It would be great to have 17 Wigan lads, but we never have had and IMO never will.

I rate McGouldrick and have been very impressed with what I have seen of him, you may disagree.

I think he would be a good signing if available, that's all I said.

I would rather have a good overseas player in the team than a poor to average Wigan born or English player.

:o BRISBANE still remain hopeful of retaining star fullback Karmichael Hunt despite playing hard-ball by withdrawing their contract offer late today.
The Broncos stuck by their round one deadline for the offer, believed to more than $1 million over three years, when Hunt failed to respond at the weekend.

Chief executive Bruno Cullen insisted the Broncos were comfortable with the offer tabled early this year but were unable to continue waiting for Hunt to pursue other options, including a lucrative rugby contract in Japan.

Talks have stalled and the club delivered the strong message they wouldn't be drawn into a bidding war for the 22-year-old.

"The time frames were not suitable to either the Brisbane Broncos or Karmichael's management and, as a club, we have had to withdraw the offer and move on," Cullen said in a club statement.

Hunt would only leave the NRL for pots of money, and we can't offer that. There's more chance Charlie Seeling admitting he's wrong about something than there is of Wigan signing Karmichael Hunt.
