Ha ha ha, Cullens words of Wisdom will have them right.

The key will be the D shape defence and taking out the A and B pivots for Fax, the ability to combust the lethargic opponent will be to the other major factor for the Vikings.

When you look at the two teams on paper you would probably give Fax the edge. The fulltime factor however should come in to play which will probably be a leveller. As someone has mentioned Fax havnt really been tested yet and nothing can be judged from putting cricket scores on Sheffield or Barrow, 2 of the weaker teams in the division. Fax will be th top scorers again this season but how they go will all depend on what their defence is like this season.

We are also very aware of the way the Halifax side line up and their tenacity in move up quickly from the line. We have looked at the videos to pin point some weaknesses and gaps this squad of players can exploit.

In laymans terms that means that we have assessed the corollary of the Pythagorean theorem's converse as a simple means of determining whether a triangle between two adjacent defenders and the full back behind is right, obtuse, or acute. The velocity of the pass is crucial to this. It's imperative we have studied that, play our own game and remember the basics i.e. a2 + b2 = c2 then it's going to be an epic.

This is history. This is history. Right here. Right now. This is history.

I thought it was Widnes?
All games are winnable, whats hard to understand about that.

Wakefield turn over a big club every season and i see no reason why Widnes can't do the same.
You would probably give Fax the edge!!... most Widnes fans would I feel give the Vikings the edge including myself
The major difference in this game will be that Fax are a settled side with a coach who's been at the helm for a while now.
We are effectively a club in transition and it will take a few weeks before we can count ourselves as settled.

You are very lucky that you are playing us at the moment!!
Reminds me of 2007 when we had a few bad NRC group games only to blow Leigh out of the water in our first home game of the season..
We were excellent that year only to implode in every conceivable fashion as a club.

dont think being full time will have anything to do with it with a live match on sky the addrenaline will carry fax through and the full time factor didnt make much difference last season so i expect it to be the same this season.

Widnes have not played well away from home this season. If we turn up to play and are as fluent as we have been at home I can see only one result - Widnes Win. If we continue our patchy away form then Fax will have enough to overcome us..

Will be looking forward to see how Beswick does against us and whether PC and JS have put a plan in place to take hime out of the game.

We had a poorer squad last year which was thrown together in the off season, King Cullen will get us firing.

Love a brew.
