stop all this pointless barrage of the players. The more we subject them to the jibes the more stuffing we take out of them. I am as bemused by the current form as the next person but i believe that they need our support 100%. This weeks home game dont stay away and sulk ! Get behind our team and show the doubters that Wire fans are the best in Super League and stick up for their team .We have hit rock bottom at present .
REMEMBER THE ONLY WAY IS UP FROM NOW ON!!!
COME ON YOU WIRE!!!!!!

I THINK ITS DEFINATLEY TIME TO DRAW A LINE UNDER WARRINGTONS HISTORY AND START A FRESH NOW WE HAVE HIT ROCK BOTTOM!! NEXT SUNDAY AGAINST HULL KR, WE NEED TO SHOW THE TEAM THAT WE ARE SUPPORTERS AND THAT ALL WE WANT IS A GROUP OF PLAYERS WHO WANT TO PLAY FOR OUR BELOVED CLUB. RESULTS WILL COME NOW WE HAVE THE RIGHT COACH , I THINK HE WILL SORT OUT THE OFF FIELD STUFF AND PUT THE CONFIDENCE BACK IN THE TEAM BUT WE NEED TO HELP!!!! - TO TAKE THE CLUB FORWARD AND CHALLENGE FOR HONOURS.
I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND THAT THINGS HAVE NOT GONE TO PLAN AND WE ARE ALL DESPERATE FOR SUCCESS!! BUT WE NEED TO KEEP OUR EMOTION AND GIVE THE PLAYERS A NOSEY 80 MINS OF GENUINE SUPPORT WITHOUT BOO'S.
KEEP THE FAITH
CALL ME AN OPTIMIST BUT I THINK THE END OF SEASON WILL THE OPPOSITE OF PRESENT!! NO IM NOT SAYING WE ARE GOING TO WIN SL OR REACH A TOP PLAY-OFF SPOT, BUT YOU WILL SEE A DIFFERENT TEAM AS LONG AS SMITH INSTILLS WHAT HE SETS OUT TO DO WITH EVERYONE BEHIND HIM!!!

totally agree lets draw a line in yhe sand again and give our 100% backing again, its the only way we can go and give tony smith time to work his magic whether it be with the squad he's got or by bringing in some of his own players only time will tell not over one or two games. oh and also agree no need to shout
i think its time to raise the roof at hj next sunday and really get behind the team. lets show them that we really care by giving a vocal support that will create a gr8 atmosphere and help the team to get that 1st win!!!

i agree 100% all this booing is knocking the confidence get behind the wire.
No, it's not nice when the fans boo the team. It's not nice for the players to hear it, and it's not nice to hear it either, to be honest.
However, the reality of the matter is thus: If the team play with enthusiasm, if they get the basics right, if they actually manage to complete one on one tackles, they will be applauded - even in defeat, as per vs. leeds.
If the team don't do any of the above however, if they knock on in the first set of the game (basic, basic, basic handling skills), if they consistently give away stupid penalties, if they cannot tackle, then it becomes more and more likely that the fans' frustrations begin to manifest themselves as boos.
A lot of the above can also be down to fans' expectations being too high, which results in "booos" for performances that in years gone by (DVDV era perhaps) would have seen the team politely clapped from the field. However, the current expectations I don't believe are unrealistically high, in most (obviously not all) cases the expectation level is based on *past performances* of the same players that are in the squad now - we have seen this group of players play some tremendous Rugby League over the past couple of seasons, and to see them performing to their current standards is quite simply bewildering.

The booing will stop when the team as a whole improves it's basic skills - I'm not talking about them winning again (although you will, regrettably, have the small minority in the crowd who *will* boo anything but a victory), I'm talking about them doing things like tackling effectively and completing their sets of possession.
Tony Smith has already said all of this in his post quins interview - he accepts that the only way to respond to the current fans' attitudes is to work harder and to improve.
