So you would have sacked a coach (and paid out the rest of his contract from scarce funds) to bring in a new coach too late to make any meaningful signings for THIS year and when this year's team was pretty much set in stone anyway?

As I have said elsewhere before, if a change is needed then look to bring someone in later this season - or even at the end of the season - PROVIDED they have ample time to input into who we keep, sign and release for next season. Do it now and its far too early - not least financially. Only do it now if the circumstances so reasonably outlined by Cibaman earlier apply.

Like I've said before IMO the team isn't a bad team it's just not getting the required coaching.

Not quite a thumping, but Hull's highest post-war score at Odsal.....and only their 2nd win at Bradford in 15 SL visits.
