I'm sure they were; I only listened to it on the radio. However, to go back to my point, even if we lose for the next five years (yes Riddler, I am probably mad), I'll still probably go for the following week. Imagine that time you win! And if I decided not to go, I'd not shout about it from the rooftops.

What they gonna do if we all don't go? Sign international players and a world class coach?
i have been watching the wire for 30 years, so if i don,t go next week because i can,t afford it i,m not a real fan,get real there is a recession on, people have got better things to spend there money on like bills.the only reason me and my family are going now is because we have a family season ticket. otherwise we would not be going.stop being so arrogant it does not matter if you go and watch them live or listen to the results on teletext your still a fan. it all comes down to money and why waste your hard earned cash on a bunch of superstars who don,t give a toss.
Well this a right snobbery battle of fans, 'I'm going even if we play crap for the next 5 years which means i am the superior fan' . Well congratulations, pick up your primrose and blue rosette at the office. Lets all turn up muttering to ourselves how bad things are whilst handing our cash over, after all it's the british way of doing things. Or do we voice our concerns and go further by keeping hold of our cash, as it is after all our disposable income we are using, set aside for entertainment purposes. If an individual decides that watching his/her team playing without commitment isn't enough for them to make time and pay the price, should we look down on them?
The best way to predict the future is to create it...
No! And how many times do I have to say it? It's not the not going that bothers me. It's up to the individual. It's the crowing about it as though it makes them morally superior.

I don't think anybody is attacking anyone for their choice of not going.
Quite the opposite in fact. Often 'we' get attacked for being martyrs or having our head in the sand.
