The re-named European Cup showcases six nations who either participated in the 2008 World Cup or took part in the qualifiers for it, some of the profits of which will help stage the tournament.

Group One will feature Lebanon, Russia and Scotland while Ireland, Serbia and Wales will compete in Group Two


Round 1
Saturday 17/10/09 - Russia V Scotland (Moscow)
- Ireland V Serbia (Limerick)

Round 2
Saturday 24/10/09 - Lebanon V Russia (Tripoli)
- Serbia V Wales (Belgrade)

Round 3
Saturday 31/10/09 - Scotland V Lebanon (Glasgow)
Sunday 01/11/09 - Wales V Ireland (Bridgend)


FINALS DAY:
Sunday 08/11/09 (Bridgend)

Hope these games will be broadcast, either on T.V (which I think will be unlikely except for maybe the final) or online (I think this is a big possibility) as I would like to watch the games that aren't been played in the home nations

if they want too yes....not sure if the RLIF has re-introduced the domestic player rule though? hopefully they will..

I am pretty sure they are introducing the domestic player rule. i think its better for the game

Now, with France not being in it, does it mean that they cannot be in the 2011 4 nations, or will there be a playoff?

isn't the plan for france to be in the four nations when it's held in the northern hemisphere with the possibilty of a fifth team joining at some point?
