Did you have the same opinion after his MOM performance last week?

Or how about when he gained international selection?

Hock is a good player...and can be brilliant for us. Equally though he can be absoloutly sh*te at times. If he had a brain he would be the best in the world IMO.

Hes a liability in the side....a guarenteed 2-3 penalties and knock ons per game, doesnt know when to and when not to offload, often to the teams detriment, and is the biggest cause for our bad performances as you'll see.

Ship him in the reserves and stick mossop on!!

I see you were very quiet about him last week

He is our most dangerous attacking player. And you my friend dont know jack about rugby league.

Ive never been Tommy's biggest fan. Ive always thought hes been too hit and miss. when hes good, hes excellent but when he isnt, hes awful. But to his credit, I think he has been superb this season despite our results

Ill go along with him being our best player at Leeds. Along with Ainscough

Hock should have never been MOM last week..........he should have lost any claim when he didnt use pat and sam on the outside when we broke, only to throw another n0b head offload, for us to lose the ball again!!!!

Even in his so called good games, he does imbicilic things like this that will forever mean he will never be the top class international player that so many people on here seemingly delude themselves into believing!!! Can you imagine farrell or betts doing something like that?!!?!?! NO.....exactly!

Sadly hock is just too stupid to ever reach anything like international potential....the sooner we all realise that and realise he is a poor-average super league player the better

You're clearly a part of a minority who has this opinion.

The majority of people including club & international coaches and those involved with the game as well supporters completely disagree with you.

I suggest for you to watch his game with more concentration and effort.

People appreciate that he makes mistakes, but he matches them and more with brilliant Rugby League play. If he didn't then he wouldn't be playing first team and international Rugby League whilst getting many man of the match awards in the process.

Sadly the brilliant attacking play doesnt make up for his numerous brain explosions which result in lost ball / penalties and knock ons and often lose us games.

If he had a brain he would be a dangerous player granted....but lets be honest, he doesnt!!! there is no sort of risk assessment in his play.

Anyone can run hard at the line and throw the ball anywhere ...sometimes it will make you look class / others make you look a fool (look at danny sculthorpe...a player very like hock in that respect/ except his ball retention was probably slightly better and he wasnt a penalty machine).

IMO hock if anything just about breaks even on his mistakes which gift trys to scoring ratio...and as such what is the point?!?! whatever he does well he negates by throwing silly balls, knocking on, running in with loose carries and giving away penalties!! yet wigan fans, in our despiration to find our next W class player- cling on to what he does well while all to often forget his shortcomings!!

The only way you will ever get a world class gaz hock is by a successful brain transplant!!! he simply lacks intelligence to play RL

Ps. Hock is a fringe International player at best. Even had he not been suspended last season....can anyone say with any certainty he would be picked for Eng?!! in all honesty I cant see Tony Smith being stupid enough to pick him for the 4 nations this year as there are far better back rowers in the game.

Really did think Hock performed awfully last night. But it was bad decisions / things not coming off that went wrong. He is an exceptional player who had an off week. I'll take an off week for the many amazing weeks we get out of him.
