Did anyone see the reserves match before hand? According to the official site Super Richie got a hat-trick and Goulding got two. Any stand out performers? Could Tim Smith tackle all those big 18 year olds?

The reserve games are getting daft. They are so one sided it is unbelievable. We have reserve players who can't get games because the so called "first teamers" are being played in the reserve side.

Are first teamer's that cant get in the first team not our reserve players anyway? I thought they were do you not mean academy players that cant get in the reserves.

The reserve league used to be a Under 21s league with no more than two over 21 players now.

Since last year it became a full fledged reserve league again (for the first time since 2001), and is open age. The Academy league (Under 18s) starts first weekend in April.

Richie Mathers and Tim Smith certainly aren't reserve players or were never signed as reserve players.

Paul Prescott and Darrell Goulding you could argue are too good for the reserves.

Reserves should be first team squad players that aren't in the starting 17, plus the higher ranking Academy players working to get in the firts team.
