May seem strange mate but I agree with you. We have a lot of work to do. A LOT! And I look forward to seeing Fax up there at the end of the season. SL is getting boring with Leeds and Saints, and would love to see some competition from the Championship this season, in entertainment and quality. One thing, it will run to the end of the season?

Will Toulouse ?

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

TKL falls into the latter category, If someones good enough I dont care what they've done in the past.

Left yourself open with that one............

To be fair - Toulouse were gash. Doesn't mean to say we all disagree with their inclusion in the Championship.

I do

An excrement-bag is something entirely different from pure excrement. An excrement-bag is someone who plays against the spirit of the game and has attitude problems, such as TKL. This is of course something entirely different from an excrement-house, a cuss preserved for those who have no bottle, kahunas or are lacking in brevity.

In short, if Haighy's opinions do not sit well with you, p1$$ off back to you're own forum.

I'm surprised a man who cannot even spell Wizard is giving other people advice on correct English.

Oh....and it's "your own forum". "you're" stands for "you are".

HTH.

I don't really care for TKL but one things for sure he's been around a long time and played at the highest level so he can't be too bad a player can he?

I think he's possibly one of those players you love in your team (apart from at leigh!) and dislike when he's playing against you.

Mmmmm.....

Do you not think that it was his choice to spell it that way to have a username different to the great song by The Who? It is a username, and not use of grammatical English. There is a difference.

He used to be a quality centre, back in 98/99 for Warrington he was one of the best in the league. But he has always let himself down by being the niggly guy and wanting to be the tough guy by being third man in and sly digs. If he came to Halifax I would not be cheering him thats for sure. I hope it NEVER happens.

What about the really embarrassing bit where he castigates Vikingman for using your instead of you’re, and then goes on to use it incorrectly himself?

He even highlights the apostrophe!

Unless you’re an English teacher, it’s best not to get into a slanging match over such minor points of grammar. Unless someone writes in block capitals or, even worse uses text speak, (both deserve a good telling off) you’ll just draw awareness to your own grammatical short comings.

On thread drift:
tb wrote:Tough. Conversations develop. It's their nature.

Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”

There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair
with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back!

Oooh-to… Oooh-to-be… Oooh-to-be-a… WOOLY!
